About the Workplace

Our swimming hall was completed in the summer of 2024.

Here you have the opportunity to help shape the new operations. The swimming hall includes a 25-meter pool with 8 lanes, a multi-purpose pool with a height-adjustable floor, and a children's pool for the very young. We also have a rehabilitation and relaxation department. We collaborate with Medley, which operates a gym in the swimming hall.

We currently have 9 permanent employees and part-time staff. Together, we provide our visitors (the public, schools, and associations) with a safe meeting place. Our operations are HBTQ-certified.

Your Responsibilities

We offer a varied job that requires you to take responsibility, have a high safety awareness, and provide good service to our visitors. In the role of lifeguard/swimming instructor, you will primarily work with swimming instruction for schools, pool supervision, cleaning, and work in the reception and café. As an employee, you will ensure that our facilities and pools are in such condition that the swimming hall's visitors have a good experience and the best possible conditions for an active leisure time.

Working hours are scheduled between 05:00-22:00 on weekdays and 08:00-18:00 on weekends.

Qualifications

We want you to have:

• turned 18 years old
• understand, speak, and write good Swedish and English (other language skills are an advantage)
• experience in cleaning
• previous experience in cashier service.

If you have a swimming instructor certification, water aerobics/instructor certificate, or baby/mini swimming certificate, that is an advantage.

Before employment, we would like you to present a completed swimming and lifeguard test according to Guldbojen. Prior to employment, you must also be able to present a clean criminal record extract as part of the work involves working with children.
